Arthur and the Whale

I learned to swim before I could walk. True story. My mom took me to a class at the high school pool called Water Babies, and I took to it like... well... like Aquaman.

Aquaman was always my favorite superhero, and I took a lot of flak for that, but the things I always liked about Aquaman were moments like this, where he could come into communion with millions of creatures of the sea. That fascinated me.

My goal with this piece was to convey the scale of Arthur in the ocean when he meets a titan of the sea like this. What would you do if you came face to face with a whale this big?
