The Romulan Commander

The Romulan Commander defined what a powerful, beautiful woman could be in those years when I was still defining such things. Star Trek gets a lot of credit for the diversity of its bridge crew, but we don't make a big enough deal about the role Joanne Linville played in showing the world that a woman could be Kirk's equal and command her own starship.
